Onymdroid

Onymdroid is an offline thesaurus and dictionary built on Princeton University's WordNet, the lexical database of English.

Look a word up and it shows the word's meanings, its synonyms and antonyms, and the relations that connect it to other words — what it is a kind of, its kinds, and the wholes and parts it belongs to — each as a tree you can expand. Every synonym, antonym, and term in those trees is tappable, so one lookup leads straight to the next.

Private by design

• No internet access at all, the WordNet database lives on your device, so nothing you look up ever leaves it.
• No accounts, no ads, no trackers, no analytics, nothing running in the background, and no Internet, storage, or location permissions.

The lexical engine is onym-engine, the shared Rust core that also powers Onym, the GTK desktop app; its behaviour derives from Artha. The APK bundles the engine as native code for arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, and x86_64 devices. Onymdroid is free software under the GPLv3.
